Theme: SPIRIT-FILLED MEN
Dear friends in Christ, N’wokafu YESU KRISTO…
Today, we celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the Church. On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles and all who were gathered with them. They received power and a new fire that transformed them from fearful men into courageous witnesses who transformed their world by bringing many to Christ.
Because of these ordinary men who were filled with the Holy Spirit, the world has never remained the same. Christianity has reached where it is today. because men and women allowed themselves to be guided and empowered by the Spirit of God.
One important lesson from the Pentecost event is that our world, as it stands today, can be truly transformed only by people filled with the Holy Spirit.
What we need most is not merely more board meetings, committees, or conferences. We need noble men and women, men and women of conviction and character, who are animated by the Spirit of God and willing to lead the transformation of lives and society with courage, truth, and love.
May the same Spirit who descended on the Apostles at Pentecost descend anew upon us today, fill our hearts with divine fire, and make us courageous witnesses of Christ in our homes, communities, and society.
PRAYER
Come Holy Spirit, fill my heart, and take possession of my life. Move me along the path of God the Father. Amen.
May God bless you.
