Deaneries In Ho Diocese
The Diocese of Ho is structured into Deaneries, which are clusters of parishes grouped together to facilitate pastoral care, administration, and coordination. This structure helps the Bishop oversee the spiritual and administrative needs of the diocese more effectively.
Each Deanery is led by a Dean, who is usually a senior or experienced parish priest. The Dean acts as a liaison between the Bishop and the parishes, supporting the clergy in their pastoral duties, encouraging collaboration among parishes, and assisting the laity in participating fully in the life of the Church.
Within each Deanery, parishes maintain their individual identity and local governance, but they work together on regional initiatives, such as catechesis, youth ministry, social outreach, and liturgical events. This system ensures that resources, guidance, and support are shared efficiently, fostering a stronger sense of community and unity across the diocese.
