in re: Pastoral Visit of the Apostolic Nuncio to Ho Diocese
Dearly Beloved,
Greetings of Easter peace from the Catholic Secretariat, Ho.
I am pleased to announce to you a pastoral visit of the Apostolic Nuncio to Ghana, Most Rev. Julien Kabore.
The visit will start on Thursday, 14th May 2026 and end on Saturday, 16th May 2026. The Nuncio will visit an educational institution, a health facility, and a social project in the diocese. He will also meet with a cross-section or representation of the clergy and consecrated persons working in the diocese.
The visit will be climaxed on Saturday, 16th May 2026 with a solemn Mass during which he will invest three Papal Knights of St. Gregory, one Dame of St. Gregory and two Monsignors. The ceremony will take place at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Ho Kpevele at 9:00am.
Two committees have been formed – one to work on the pastoral visit and the other to work on the investiture ceremony. The details of both programmes will be made known to us once they are finalized.
As we await this pastoral visit, I entreat all of you to pray for a successful visit of the Apostolic Nuncio to our diocese.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Signed:
Most Rev. Emmanuel Kofi Fianu, SVD
Catholic Bishop of Ho
