THEME: WE HAVE SEEN THE LORD
Dear friends in Christ, N’wokafu YESU KRISTO…
This morning, the Gospel tells us that Thomas was not with the other disciples when the Lord appeared to them. We are not told why he was absent or where he had gone. Perhaps he was overwhelmed by the recent events, quietly withdrawing and slowly drifting away in confusion and sorrow.
When he returned, the disciples simply said to him, “We have seen the Lord.” There was no interrogation about his absence, no accusation, no judgment – only a gentle witness. In that simple statement was an invitation, a door opened for a struggling brother to express his doubts and wrestle honestly with his faith.
It may well have been that quiet and compassionate testimony – “We have seen the Lord” – that prepared Thomas to encounter the mercy of God for himself.
This is the heart of the Easter message. It must be shared with gentleness, especially with our brothers and sisters who are struggling, doubting, or on the verge of drifting away. The message is not condemnation or judgment, but a simple and sincere witness: We have seen the Lord.
We do not need harsh words or pressure. We simply share what we have experienced, what we have seen and received. That gentle testimony can open hearts, awaken faith, and draw others back into the embrace of grace and mercy.
PRAYER
Lord Jesus Christ, may I witness to the resurrection by telling others my experience of you.
Amen.

May God bless you.
